Question 1. Firstly- tell us about your dress?
So I wasn’t really sure what I wanted I first went for ball gown tried a few of them on loved one but then I came to pearls and lace and the experience I had was amazing so we went for slim fit dresses this time which fit my curves amazingly I really thought I’d love mermaid style too but wasn’t for me tried on 4 dresses there in total then was bought out a Stella York dress Ivory with a sandy undertone obsessed I felt so happy as it was just so me I just knew this is my dress
Question 2. The Details
So I love a bit of dramatics when I’m going out and on your wedding day it’s the only day you really get to go a little over board so I got a over skirt made champagne and Ivory colour with a white glitter tulle on top, I then got straps taken off the dress also as I loved it with the deep v going down my back. I bought a black head piece with a forehead peace and black earrings, my mum bought me a paper bouquet with the nightmare before Christmas story on it as I love Disney and Tim burton
Question 3.The Bridal Party
So I went for black suits for groom and groomsmen. My husband’s suit was different to groomsmen his had a velvet design all over with a white 80’s
The shirt and bow tie were the same colour as 7 of the bridesmaids ,shoes were Dr Martins black,
Groomsmen we’re black suit plan with black shirt lilac bow ties like 2 of the bridesmaids ,with Dr martins,
I had 9 bridesmaids all together
2 in lilac which was my daughter and my sister
Then rest of the 7 had dark purple,
They wore forehead headpieces with matching necklace and earrings and with beige heels and bag
They all looked fabulous
Question 4. Advice for other Brides
Just relax and enjoy the planning Don’t stress too much as it all does work out in the end, just remember no matter what happens your marrying your best friend at the end of it
Question 5. What was your most memorable moment of your special day?
Walking down the aisle with my dad and his big happy grin taking me to the man I will spend my life with and seeing my husband to be at the end of it and I was so nervous couldn’t even look at him and he says to me are you ok and as soon as I said yeah and he held my hand I didn’t care anymore I was so relaxed and enjoyed every minute
