REAL BRIDE BLOG - SINEAD & JASON

Next up on Our Real Bride Blog is the beautiful Sinead and her now husband Jason. The happy couple had their big day in the fabulous Bunratty Castle. Emma was Sinead's consultant and helped her find "The One"  Victoria.  Victoria exudes a high-end fashion look that is modern yet evokes a classic romance. Strong lace details are featured throughout this fit-and-flare silhouette, with a sheer long sleeves for a truly striking focal point.

Let's hear all about it...

Sinead, firstly tell us about your dress?

I initially thought I wanted an off the shoulder dress, since I was small that’s what I always pictured I would buy. Pearls and lace was the second dress shop I visited, I was feeling a bit deflated after the shop do to be honest was expecting to be let down again. As soon as I walked in the door that morning in November I knew this day was going to be different. I loved everything about that day I felt so special and unlike the other shop I just couldn’t wait to get the dresses on me.. all of them!! I tried on a good few every one nicer than the other but there was always something missing, that was until I put on the ‘one’; I knew straight away and even before I came out from the curtain my mam and bridal party could hear me say ‘oh I think this is it’. It wasn’t the dress I initially thought I wanted as it wasn’t off the shoulder but the crazy thing is it was one of the few dresses I had screen-shotted and saved in my phone. It’s like it was made for me and I didn’t even know. I would do that day over and over again it was just so special.

How did you style your dress?

I styled my dress with the Maya hair piece and my sister in laws veil - something borrowed. I’m all for comfort so wore gold block heal Carvella shoes. My flowers were white and gold.

Tell us about your bridal party?

My bridesmaid’s wore gold glittery long dresses that were from ASOS. The groom and groomsmen wore tuxes.

What would your advice be for other brides to be?

Do not let the stress get to you, everyone is happy just to be the day of your wedding and all the small things don’t matter.
Loads of little things will more than likely go wrong but nothing that can effect your day.. honestly no one will even notice.
The table plans worried me the most and looking back it was silly as I said already people don’t mind. It was just the best day of my life and I would do it all again in a heartbeat the exact same way.

What was your most memorable moment of your special day?

There are too many special moments to pick just one - from the morning time at my home getting ready, walking down the aisle with my dad to my future husband, the car journey to the hotel where it was just the two of us reflecting on the day so far, our first dance and ringing in the new year with all our family and friends and dancing the night away.

Thank you so much Sinead for sharing your special day with us, wishing you a lifetime of happiness.
