The ‘sleeves’ wedding dress trend is going nowhere. In 2025 plus size wedding dresses with sleeves will still be a major trend but we are seeing a lot more ‘detachable sleeve elements’ availabe now for brides. Lots of our curvy brides come into the boutique thinking they would like a sleeve, but for brides getting married summer, a full-length sleeve isn't always a practical option. Curvy brides love detachable sleeves as this gives them the arm coverage they want, but also allows them to change up their look by swapping a full sleeve to, for example an off the shoulder strap for the reception and dancing part of their wedding day. Plus, as detachable sleeves can be added to almost any of our plus size bridal gowns, it gives our plus size brides a lot more choice and to allow them to really make their look individual.  

Here's one of our favourites- Aria. Aria is a gorgeous fit and flare bridal gown adorned with pretty lace appliqués, a plunge notch neckline and sheer blouson sleeves which can be worn off the shoulder, on the shoulder and are detachable so can be removed and replaced with an off the shoulder strap for a second wedding day look.   Aria is a gorgeous boho plus size wedding dress for the girl looking for a more relaxed wedding day look.

Over-skirts are a huge trend for 2025 brides, and we have a gorgeous selection of these available in our plus size collection. Over skirts are amazing for that bride that can’t decide if she prefers a more fitted look or if she wants to go all out with a fuller skirt. You can wear the overskirt for a little extra drama the ceremony and remove it later in the day, leaving you with a fitted sexy silhouette and a stunning wedding dress that you can easily dance the night away in. One of our favourite trends for 2023 brides is off the shoulder wedding dresses and we have some gorgeous gowns in our latest plus size collection featuring this look.  Off the shoulder has lots going for it, it's romantic and sultry and on the practical side, adds a little coverage to arms without brides feeling too covered up. This trend is going nowhere and we expect to see lots more of it in our new arrivals over the next few months!  

Phoebe is one of the favourite soft a-line styles for plus sizes brides in the boutique at the minute and it is utterly fabulous in real life! From a strapless sweetheart neckline bodice, detachable off-the-shoulder straps attach for an idyllic touch. Softly pleated layers of sparkle tulle shine through sequin-embellished lace accents and wrap around the bodice to reveal a stunning sheer back that highlights each delicate floral detail. Influencer & celebrity weddings of the last few years all featured simple, chic wedding dresses so it's no surprise this is one of the biggest trends for brides at the minute.
