We absolutely love helping brides find everything they want in a wedding gown. To make the most of your time with us and to enable us to help you the very best we can, we will firstly start with your appointment set-up form and your screenshots/ photos of styles you like. If you haven't already, you can fill out your set-up form below.
Then we recommend checking out our wedding dresses on social media, our instagram or our tik tok pages are all updated daily. You can also view dresses by category- for example all our plus size dresses, or by style such as 'ballgowns' on under the wedding dresses tab above!
Below we have included some frequently asked questions, a video of what you can expect when you visit us and the lovely team that will be looking after you.
And we have an extra surprise, if you say yes to the dress at your first appointment with us, we give brides 10% off the price of their dress!
Bringing along wedding dress inspiration to your appointment is very important. We recommend adding all of the dresses you have liked from pinterest, pearls and lace social media and anything you have tried before to an album on your phone.
Bring along a pair of shoes similar height to what you think you’d like to wear on your wedding day.
Hair ties & clips. These are really handy! You may want to pull up your hair up with a hair tie or clip to help you envision your wedding day look if you choose to wear an updo, or just to help see the detail on the back of a dress better.
Your nearest and dearest. Most brides that visit us will find their dream dress with us. And while you can always bring a family member back to see your dress for another appointment, it's impossible to replicate the magical moment that you put on a dress and you realise it is the one. So if you have anyone you'd like part of this moment like a mum, sister or special bridesmaid we recommend making sure they can come to your appointment.
While shapewear and the perfect bra aren’t totally necessary until your first fitting, feeling and looking your best can all help you feel more confident when trying on and help you imagine the final look more easily.
If you have one, we suggest bringing along a nude strapless or convertible bra although a lot of our current styles are backless or have back detail with bras built in, so if you don't have one, don't worry!
Nude seamless pants are best for trying on under wedding dresses.
We normally require a 50% deposit when you say yes and the balance isn't due until the dress arrives in store! Payment plans are also available.
We also offer 10% off to brides who say yes to the dress with us on their first appointment so most brides will say yes and pay their deposit on the day. (Can you imagine the excitement!)
If you arrive early in the carpark, always feel free to call us to see if we can take you any earlier than your appointment time. Our appointments run back to back, so arriving even 10 minutes early can eat into another brides time slot or our preparation for your appointment. So for the best experience for everyone, feel free to call us if you are early but otherwise we will look forward to welcoming you at your appointment time. The champagne will be chilling we promise!
Appointments last one hour and 30 mins
We don't limit the number of dresses but we are obviously curtailed a bit by time. It is really important that your pre-consultation form is filled out and you have screenshots so we can make sure we fill the time with gorgeous dresses that you love!
Yes we are in a retail park so there is parking right outside. Parking is free.
Yes, we are blessed in Donegal town with gorgeous places to eat when visiting us!
Breakfast & Brunch
Blas @ The Gateway Lodge have a fantastic breakfast & lunch menu for those brides coming to see us for earlier appointments!
Lunch
Again Blas @ The Gateway lodge have a lovely lunch menu.
The millpark hotel which is around 1km from the shop and have a gorgeous lunch and late evening menu.
Both the above are easily accessible from the boutique without having to go into Donegal Town itself.
The blueberry restaurant and tearooms are located in Donegal town and is a great central location if you'd like to visit some of the gift shops on the diamond after.
Dinner
If you are coming to visit us later in the evening or staying over in Donegal- we have some beautiful restaurants. We would recommend pre-booking for all of them.
