REAL WEDDING BLOG - KIMBERLEY & SEAN

A bit of a dull morning in Donegal after all the glorious sunshine so we're popping in to bring a bit of cheer in the form of another beautiful bride and her new husband. Today on the blog we have the fabulous Kimberley and her new hubby Sean who held their big day in the stunning Harveys Point.

Kimberley chose "Hannah" a plunging V-neckline,with beaded spaghetti straps and a sheer bodice with exposed boning and lace details. The sequins on the back of the dress add a soft sparkle, while the delicate buttons, crepe skirt and scalloped lace train add a hint of vintage romance.

Let's hear all about it...

Kimberley firstly tell us about your dress?

Pearls and Lace was our first shop and I didn't go in to the girls with a particular style, but I was sure that I'd probably be comfier with my arms covered. The dress I chose was the second one I tried on, and I knew straight away but tried on another few different styles just to make sure and ended up going back to it. My favourite part was the lace detail, and the support in the bodice as well as the trail. My Maid of Honour, Mum and I all cried - that's how we knew it was the one! My dress was Martina Liana.

How did you style your dress?

I styled my dress with a cathedral length veil which had a slight shimmer through it and simple diamond earrings. I paired the dress with a pair of Ted Baker Ivory Satin Court Heels that had a small bow at the front. My flowers were white and green, and I went for a slightly different style bouquet to the traditional one. The flowers matched the overall colour of the wedding - sage green. I didn't over-style as the dress was enough in itself.

Tell us about your bridal party?

The groom and groomsmen wore Navy suits, with the groom in a green waistcoat that matched the dresses and other ties. The buttonholes also matched the rest of the flowers and the bridesmaid dresses were from ASOS.

What would your advice be for other brides to be?

Soak up every moment of the planning right up to the big day, don't overthink anything and go with whatever happens on the day!

What was your most memorable moment of your special day?

Walking down the aisle as Husband and Wife at the end of the ceremony to 'This will be an Everlasting Love' past a church full of family and friends that were there for us. It was a surreal moment, with people from every stage of your life all in the one place to celebrate your big day.

Thank you for allowing us a sneak peek into your big day Kimberley and Sean.
