REAL BRIDE BLOG - NICOLE & GARRETH

Your dress is more than just fabric and lace—it’s a reflection of you and the love story you’re about to celebrate. And when you find it, trust us, you’ll feel it. 💞

Today on the blog we have Nicole and her now husband Garreth, with their venue being the stunning Ormonde Hotel Kilkenny.

Nicole's dream dress was Sion from Essense of Australia, a romantic lace A-line gown.

This wedding dress features stunning 3D floral lace throughout, versatile off shoulder detachable straps coupled with a  sweetheart neckline. Densely covering the bodice before lightly scattering amongst the soft A-line tulle skirt, the floral and vine details throughout add an elegant appeal to make this simple wedding dress one-of-a-kind. For a contemporary touch, the softly draped skirt opens into a high skirt slit that adds extra movement to the flowing layers of tulle.

Let's hear all about it...

NIcole, firstly tell us about your dress?

My wedding dress was everything I had dreamed of.  Pearls and lace were the only store I had visited because I knew that they had what I was looking for ( lace and sparkle ) I tried on six dresses in store but my dress stood out to me the way it fit me perfectly the designer was Essence of Australia. What I loved the most was the details going through the dress the slit and the sparkle. I felt the most beautiful I had ever felt before the dress was a show stopper! I did pick the dress myself but I had the help of my mam, sister and mother in law.

How did you style your dress?

I styled my dress with a long veil with sparkles going through to match the wedding dress, I also paired it with diamond drop earrings a small dainty bracelet and white heels with a small bow at the back. The look I was going for was glam with a hint of sparkle just like the dress.

Tell us about your bridal party?

We wanted classic black for our bridal party we styled the dresses with a sparkle pair of shoes and dress so tie in with the bride and groomsman so we went with black tuxedos for the men all three piece, the groom went with the same colour scheme but he had a black and velvet jacket with black buttons on his white shirt to standout.

What would your advice be for other brides to be?

Try to enjoy the process and the planning I know it gets very overwhelming but it is worth every minute.

What was your most memorable moment of your special day?

The most memorable moments of the day was seeing my husband waiting for me walking down the aisle.

We’re here for every squeal, happy tear, and twirl in front of the mirror! Wishing you a lifetime of happy memories !
