Today on the blog we have our beautiful bride Emma and her now husband Kyle.

Let's hear all about it...

Emma, firstly tell us about your dress?

My dress was the Nora dress.  This dress had everything I wanted, it was an A-line dress, had lace with long sleeves, a low V- neckline, open back. It was fitted on top and had layers of tulle with a side slit, and to top it all off it just sparkled ✨️

How did you style your dress?

The ladies at Pearl's and Lace were honestly fantastic. I was very nervous,  when I attended my appointment with my mother and mother-in-law to be.
Nollaig was amazing, she made feel relaxed straight away, we talked budget and what I wanted. I showed Nollaig the picture off the dress I liked unfortunately it was out of my budget. So Nollaig proceeded to pull dresses similar but within my price range.
The first dress was beautiful, everyone liked it including me, I think I was in shock because I was in a wedding dress and I actually looked good.
Dress no 2 was very similar to the one I wanted, and once again everyone liked it.
Although both dresses were beautiful I asked Nollaig could I try on the dress I wanted just to see.
Dress no.3, I remember  looking at myself in the mirror and my mother and mother-in-law to be, saying that's the dress. I on the other hand was extremely quiet, I wasn't talking, I was just speechless. When asked what I thought I just shrugged my shoulders!!
It was an unreal experience, I just had no words, Nollaig asked will we try on a veil and I nodded. The veil went on as I stared at my mum, I could see tears coming to her eyes and as I turned around to look in the mirror, I instantly starting crying, I knew it was the dress.
The budget went out the window that day but I knew I got my dream dress. I said YES to the dress!!!
How did you style your dress?
It needed very little styling, as it was just stunning

Tell us about your bridal party?

The bridesmaids wore dresses from JJ's house. I always new I wanted purple

The Groom and groomsmen wore suits from Tomorrow's in Derry. A lovely navy suit a and different tie and waistcoat for the Groom to stand out.

What would your advice be for other brides to be?

Enjoy your special day, it just flys by, don't worry about things going wrong, or the small things. I forgot several things but nobody even noticed.

What was your most memorable moment of your special day?

I have loads....
My dad's reaction, kids reaction, my now husbands reaction to seeing me 😍 in general everybody's reaction,  they just loved the dress.
My most memorable moment for me was the happiness,  it just filled every room.
Kyle and I, our kids, family, friends, everyone was just so happy.
Kyle and Emma, savour every second as you embark on this new chapter together.
