REAL BRIDE BLOG- CLIONA & KEELAN

REAL BRIDE BLOG- CLIONA & KEELAN

Today on our Real Bride Blog is Cliona and her now husband Keelan. Cliona travelled all the way from Galway with her bride squad and fell in love with our beautiful ‘Cali’ gown, a lace adorned long sleeved wedding dress by Stella York.

Cali features a subtly voluminous silhouette of tulle and Regency Organza with very on trend visible boning in the bodice for a classic yet romantic feel,  Cliona opted for a beautiful crisp white.

Trisha was Cliona’s bridal consultant , she told us that Cliona had followed Pearls and Lace from before she even got engaged and had always wanted to visit so we are extra delighted you found your dream dress with us.

Let's hear all about it...

Cliona, firstly tell us about your dress?

I absolutely loved my wedding dress.  I had tried 2 other bridal shops before shopping in Pearl's and Lace . I tried on all shapes and styles of dresses to make sure I was happy with the one I chose and make sure I had given everything a chance and no regrets afterwards . I ended up choosing my dream dress in pearls and lace and it was exactly what I had pictured and wanted in my head . All the girls in pearls and lace were absolutely amazing at their job and just so welcoming and helpful from the minute I walked in the door treated like a princess. I had explained what I would love for my dress and straight away the dresses that were brought in by Trisha were all spot on and exactly what I was looking for in every sense all different but loved them all. I felt absolutely amazing in my dress, everything about it made me feel so bridal and like a real life princess . It's extremely hard to pick just one but in the end I knew exactly the dress I wanted and My wedding dress I chose was a Stella York dress .

How did you style your dress?

There was a lot of detail in my dress so I actually had very little accessorizing to do with the dress.  My flowers I kept simple and elegant with a mixture of  baby's breathe, baby pink and brown rose and greenery to finish it off .

Tell us about your bridal party?

My bridesmaids wore beautiful dusty rose pink dresses which were from monsoon. They were multi wrap dresses and the girls said they were extremely comfortable to wear for the day, nice and light and easy to dance in ! Multi Wrap was an ideal way to go as the girls had the choice to wrap them whatever way they felt most comfortable which i loved as everyone has their own style .

The lads were all suited and booted by the amazing Coreless formal wear Galway. The staff were a dream to work with and so professional to deal with, so helpful with everything they suited 8 men in total for us and everything was perfect on the day .

What would your advice be for other brides to be?

Enjoy every single minute of the build up and the organisation of it all. Of course at times it can be stressful but believe me you will miss it all when it's over its such a lovely exciting time so enjoy it all . I did a lot as I went and then on the week off and the morning off I was so relaxed as I knew all was done.

Soak up every minute of it as the day absolutely flies by .

What was your most memorable moment of your special day?

I genuinely couldn't pick one moment. We had such an amazing day from start to finish every memory stuck with me . I would definitely say that Love Shack singing waiters was a huge highlight of the day. They were amazing entertainment and had us all up dancing, laughing and doing a Mr & Mrs quiz. They were just fantastic.

But the main highlight of course was marrying my best friend and life partner, such a lovely feeling and memory.

A huge congratulations Cliona & Keelan- wishing you both a happily ever after.
