Meet Ciara and of course her new husband Ben, one of our stunning real brides! Ciara’s journey to finding her dream wedding dress was just as special as her love story with her fiancé Ben. Ciara came to Pearls & Lace looking for a dress that not only felt like "her," but one that would wow her mum and bridesmaids too. We were so excited to be a part of her big day, and we can’t wait to share all the beautiful details from her bridal experience with you!
Ciara chose 'Grace' from Essense of Australia, a long-sleeved ballgown with floral lace. A delicate sweetheart neckline with organic motifs floating over the illusion sleeves and a full skirt of tulle and Royal organza. Fabric-covered buttons for a touch of classic bridal tradition amidst the modernised lace details.

Ciara, firstly tell us about your dress?
My dress was the absolute dream dress, exactly what I wanted and more. When I first got engaged I looked up wedding dresses and I seen the make essence of Australia and just knew I need one of these dresses.. And the first place I looked was pearls and Lace and they stocked this make.. I told the girls what I was looking for, and the amazing Emma found me my dream dress the moment she brought the dress into me I knew that was it. I tried on one other dress but it just wasn't me, once I put on the second dress I started crying and just knew that was the one I felt amazing and looked amazing. I had spoken to Emma before hand on how i was so nervous as i am not your typical small body girl I have many curves and was so scared I wouldn't find a dress. Emma reassured me that no matter the size every bride is beautiful and will always find there dream dress, she went above and beyond to make me comfortable and build my confidence. I'll never be able to thank the amazing ladies at pearls and Lace enough for all their help and just overall support, laughter and fun they show during your appointments. One of the best experiences of the whole wedding planning, they made it all stress free. The best part of my stunning dress was the beautiful lace sleeves and stunning details all down the dress it was just amazing and made me feel amazing. I chose my dress myself as I just knew the moment I seen it that was the dress I needed for my big day.
How did you style your dress?
At the started I thought I wanted to go for a pearl style head piece but I changed my mind and went with just a simple small white and gold flower clips in the back of my hair and a stunning Cathedral lenght veil which had such a beautiful sparkle to it. I then just had a beautiful small silver chain and got my beautiful earrings from pearls and Lace they were just perfect to set off the look. My flowers were a beautiful tear drop bouquet of pinks green and white flowers, just simple and stunning.
