Today on the blog we have the beautiful Casey and her now husband Maksim, who had their big day in Tankardstown House. Casey fell in love with Mai from Enzoani, a showstopping fit & flare gown adorned with stunning 3D floral motifs and a layer of sequinned sparkle tulle.
Let's hear all about it...
Casey, firstly tell us about your dress?
I seen my dress on the Pearls and Lace instagram page and was just instantly in love. So I booked an appointment but my maid of honor couldn't make it so I promised myself I was just trying it on. I wasn't going to fall in love and commit without my MOH. Well, that didn't work out. The second I tried it on I knew that was it and I was buying the first dress I tried I just adored the detail and the detachable train, it was like 2 different dresses in the one. I knew it was my dress because it was exactly how I imagined/ wished i would look on my wedding day. I practically floated out of my appointment I was so happy.
How did you style your dress?
I wanted to go for a vintage look with the dress. It was pure ivory, beautiful lace and sparkle so I wanted an updo hair style to show of every inch of the dress. I also added a diamond belt to the detachable skirt to give it that little bit more sparkle! Also, didn't know when I would have the chance to wear a cathedral length veil again so went for it! I wanted to preserve my flowers forever so my bouquet was made using premium silk flowers in soft pinks and browns I also had a circle arch made using the same style flowers of the bouquets. It made everything look so magical!
