REAL BRIDE BLOG - NIAMH & JEAN- LUC

There’s something truly magical about a wedding in Santorini—where whitewashed buildings, endless sea views, and golden sunlight come together to create a picture-perfect celebration. So when it came time for our next bride Niamh to pick her wedding dress, she knew it had to match the setting: elegant, breezy, and breathtaking.

Niamh fell in love with Molly D3339, perfect for the classic bride with a touch of sexy sophistication. Featuring clean lines, a plunging neckline with illusion tulle, and delicate beading, this gown balances timeless elegance with modern detail. Sheer lace cutouts add allure, while contour seaming and a softly flared tulle skirt ensure a flattering, comfortable fit for a stunning walk down the aisle.

Let's hear all about it...

Niamh, firstly tell us about your dress?

Pearls and Laces was the first boutique I visited and I believe I tried on about 6 dresses. I was a size 14 and was so nervous I wouldn't find a dress to fit me and look good on me but the lady looking after me, Kristina was so helpful and kind. I went for the Molly dress by Essence of Australia and I just loved how it was classy and simple but yet had small beautiful detail and a long train.
I knew it was the one as soon as I tried it on because I felt confident. It wasn't at all what I had planned on getting before I went to my appointment!! I got it in a size 18 because wedding dresses run smaller and had it altered to fit me which was a simple process because the dress was made for easy altering!

How did you style your dress?

We got married in Santorini, so I went for an elegant look. I went for simple jewellery with a Hollywood wave hair and full glam makeup. I went for simple greenery and white flowers also.  I wore simple  Pearl  Hailey earrings with a small diamond necklace.

Tell us about your bridal party?

My bridesmaids wore the PLT Molly-Mae navy bridesmaid dress with small white flower and greenery bouquets. The groomsmen wore grey and white.

And just like that, their forever began—on a whitewashed terrace overlooking the sea.Thank you for sharing the magic of your sun-drenched Santorini celebration with us. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness.
