Firstly- tell us about your dress?
Pearls and Lace was the first and only bridal boutique I went to. I had absolutely no idea on what I wanted, but the girls were just absolutely amazing. They were so welcoming and made me feel so comfortable. They got me to try all different styles before narrowing it down to two. Then with the help of my mum, mother in law, auntie and sister we all decided on my dream dress. It was just perfect and so me. I felt so confident and comfortable in my dress.
"I don't have a specific favourite thing about my dress, to me it was just perfect."
I knew it was the one when I seen my sisters face when the girls pulled the curtains back. Coldplay 'just say yes' was also playing on the radio, so this gave us all the feels as well. My dress was the Ozalea dress in ivory.
The Details
On the day I 'said yes', my mother in law had seen a beautiful head piece and got me to try it on. It was a hair band style with pearl style flowers & diamonds, this to me set off the finer details for me. I also got diamond drop earrings from pearls and lace as well. My flowers where a relaxed bouquet, I wanted to have a hint of blue in them to tie in my bridesmaids colours. Bridal Accessories
The Bridal Party
My bridesmaids wore a baby blue dress, very plain and simple and they where just gorgeous. I got them velvet bows made for their hair. The Groom and groomsmen wore full suits, navy to tie in with the girls.
Advice for other Brides
Do not stress, plan as much in advance as you can. Do not be afraid to ask your bridesmaids for help. Everything will fall into place. Everyone wants to help, but do what suits you and the groom best.
What was your most memorable moment of your special day?
My dad and I went to the Chapel in an open top vintage car, the short journey to the Chapel was definitely one of the highlights for me. We both just loved it and it made us feel so special. Being called into the reception as 'Mr & Mrs' was also very special. Your guests are their to see and support you which is very special.
