We are so excited to share the beautiful wedding of our Pearls & Lace bride, Alison Cunnane, who married her love, Padraig Mullen, on the 22nd of November 2024. Their magical day took place at the stunning Radisson Blu in Sligo, with every moment beautifully captured by the talented Richard McCarthy.
Question 1. Firstly- tell us about your dress? ✨
Alison wore the gorgeous Casey gown, a dress she had her heart set on from the very beginning. After browsing online, she knew it was exactly the style she wanted to try. While she tried on a few other gowns, nothing compared to Casey. The moment she slipped into it, Alison felt completely comfortable – elegant yet true to herself.
To make the gown even more her own, Alison added a chic slit to the side, giving it that extra touch of personality and modern flair. It was the perfect balance of sophistication and confidence – and the moment she knew it was “the one.”
Question 2. The Details 🌸
For her accessories, Alison chose timeless elegance. She styled her gown with dainty pearl jewellery and a delicate headpiece from Pearls & Lace, keeping everything soft, romantic, and refined. Her bouquet of classic white flowers tied the whole look together beautifully, adding a fresh, graceful touch to her bridal style.
The bridal party looked effortlessly chic in timeless black. The bridesmaids wore elegant black gowns, while the groomsmen matched in classic black tuxedos. To make his look stand out, Padraig chose a stylish suede jacket, bringing his own unique twist to the day’s style. The overall look was sleek, modern, and full of personality.
Question 4. Advice for other Brides 💍
Alison’s advice to brides-to-be is simple but so important:
“Stop panicking – once everything is booked and planned, it will all work out. And remember, whatever is forgotten, nobody will notice but you.”
